A vast territory (about 30sqkm) of nature and landscapes, in the southernmost part of the province of L’Aquila, with an old route that connected, in the past, the Paeligni and the Carricini of “Aufidena”.
Today, that ancient route helps tourists to reach our mountains. Easily accessible via the A25 Rome-Pescara (Sulmona exit), or via the A1 (Caianello), for those coming from Naples, or San Vittore for those coming from Rome, but also through the Sangro Valley, for those coming from the Adriatic coast.
